  • WiFi 6 router included
  • Connect up to 32 devices
  • Extend anytime £25/wk
Choose 4 weeks

Renting more than one? Pick your quantity at checkout to order two or more routers in a single payment, and if they're going to different places you can send them to separate addresses.

Staying longer? Keep the router as long as you need for £25 a week after your plan ends, no need to ask. Or prepay 3 months for £249 and forget about it: choose 3 months. Waiting on a long fibre install or a stop-gap between homes, that is usually the cheapest way.

5G included as standard. No premium tier, no upsell. Every router is 5G-ready and connects to the fastest signal available at your address, dropping to 4G automatically where 5G hasn't reached yet.

Every order is coverage-checked. We look up your postcode across the UK's mobile networks and ship your router with the SIM that has the strongest predicted signal at your address. If the signal still lets you down, return within 48 hours for a full refund, no quibbles.

Unlimited data is subject to the mobile network's fair-use and traffic-management policies. Speeds vary by location, indoor signal and network demand.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Is the data really unlimited?

Yes. We add no caps and no throttling schedule of our own. Your router runs on the mobile network's genuine unlimited tariff, so stream, game and work as much as you like for normal household or small business use. The network's own fair use and traffic management policies apply, and using the SIM outside the supplied router isn't permitted.

How fast will it be?

Every router is 5G-ready: real speeds vary by location, indoor signal and network demand, but in good coverage it comfortably handles 4K streaming, gaming and video calls, and our 48-hour money-back guarantee covers you if the signal disappoints. It uses 5G where your address has it and steps down to 4G automatically when it does not.

Why not just get a broadband contract?

If you need internet for a year or more, do that. It's cheaper. But mobile networks want a 12-month commitment, a credit check and a direct debit, and even their rolling plans mean signing up, then remembering to cancel and return their kit. We want a postcode and a card. No credit search (handy mid-mortgage or mid-referencing), no subscription to forget. It simply ends when you post the router back.

Which mobile network will I get?

Whichever is strongest at your address. Unlike fixed broadband, we're not tied to one network. Before dispatch we check your postcode across the UK's mobile networks and fit the SIM with the strongest predicted coverage where you live. If it still underperforms, return within 48 hours for a full refund.

What if the signal is poor at my address?

Post it back within 48 hours of delivery and we refund you in full, as soon as the return scan shows on the label. We check your postcode across the UK networks before dispatch and fit the SIM with the strongest signal at that address, but nobody can promise how mobile coverage behaves inside a particular building, so the guarantee is written into our terms.

Do I need a phone line or an engineer?

No. The router works anywhere with mobile signal. Plug it into power, connect to the WiFi name on the included card, done.

What if my broadband gets delayed?

Extend your rental anytime for £25/week from your order confirmation email. Cheaper than late fees, no need to reorder.

What if I keep the router past my return date?

We charge £25 for each extra week or part week to the card saved at checkout. That's the same rate as extending, so you're never worse off for hanging on to it, and you can extend at any time at airgengo.co.uk/extend. If the router still hasn't been posted 14 days after your return date we charge up to £199 to replace it, and any late weeks you've already paid come off that.

Is there a deposit?

No deposit. Most rental firms hold £100 up front; we hold nothing. When you pay, Stripe securely saves your card (you'll see a note at checkout) and we only ever charge it if the equipment isn't sent back after reminders or comes back damaged beyond normal wear, and never for more than it costs us to replace, plus a £25 administration charge if it isn't returned at all, capped at £199. Send it back and your card is never touched again. More on no-deposit, no-credit-check hire.
