Is the data genuinely unlimited?
Yes. No allowance, no top-ups, no cap we add. The router runs on the mobile network's genuine unlimited tariff, so stream, work and game as much as you like for normal household or small-business use. The network's own fair use policy applies.
What's the difference between a mobile WiFi router and home broadband?
A mobile WiFi router uses the 4G and 5G mobile networks instead of a phone line, so it works anywhere with signal and needs no engineer, no landline and no installation. You plug it into power and it creates a WiFi network for your whole home or office. Ours is a rental, so there's no contract and you return it when you're done.
Which mobile network will my router use?
Whichever is strongest at your address. Before dispatch we check your postcode across the UK's mobile networks and fit the SIM with the strongest predicted coverage where you live. If it underperforms, return within 48 hours for a full refund.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. No contract, no credit check and no deposit. Rent from one week and extend for as long as you need at £25 a week. Stop by posting the router back free with the return QR code.
Is this a pay as you go WiFi router?
Yes. You pay upfront for the period you want, from one week, and there is no subscription, no direct debit and no credit check. Extend a week at a time at £25 if you need longer, or post the router back and it simply ends.
What's the difference between a portable WiFi router and a MiFi?
Size and power. A portable WiFi router like this one runs off mains power and is built to cover a whole home, office or unit with up to 32 devices connected. A MiFi is a battery-powered pocket device for one or two people on the move, with a weaker signal and a shorter range. We rent both, so pick by whether you need coverage or portability.
