The moving-in gap

Broadband takes weeks. Life doesn't wait.

The average wait for a new broadband activation is around two weeks, and delays past the promised date are common. Meanwhile you're unpacking with no WiFi, burning phone data on video calls, and the kids' tablets don't work. A rented 5G router bridges the gap for less than most providers charge for a missed engineer visit.

Online the day after you order

Order by 2pm on a working day and the router arrives tomorrow, pre-configured. Plug in, connect with the WiFi card in the box, done.

The best network for your new address

Before dispatch we check your postcode across the UK's mobile networks and ship the SIM with the strongest predicted signal where you're moving to. If it still disappoints, return within 48 hours for a full refund.

Ends when your broadband starts

No contract and no cancellation admin. When your line goes live, post the router back with the prepaid label and you're done. Broadband delayed? Extend for £14 a week.

FAQ

Moving-day questions, answered

How quickly can I get internet in my new house?

Order by 2pm on a working day and your pre-configured 5G router arrives the next working day, tracked. Plug it into any power socket and you're online in about a minute. No engineer, no phone line, no installation.

My broadband activation date slipped. Can I keep the router longer?

Yes. Extend for £14 a week, as many weeks as you need. Broadband dates slip all the time, so extensions are designed to be painless: pay online, keep the same router, nothing to reorder.

Will it be fast enough for streaming and working from home?

Every router is 5G with automatic 4G fallback. Expect 100 to 300Mbps in 5G coverage and 20 to 80Mbps on 4G, enough for 4K streaming, video calls and gaming. Before dispatch we check your postcode across the UK's mobile networks and fit the SIM with the strongest predicted signal at your new address.

What happens when my broadband goes live?

Pop the router in the box with the prepaid return label and drop it at a Post Office or Royal Mail parcel postbox. The rental simply ends. No cancellation call, no notice period, no direct debit to remember.

Does renting affect my credit file while I'm mid-mortgage?

No. There's no credit check, no direct debit and no deposit. You pay by card, Stripe saves the card securely, and it's only ever charged again if the router isn't returned. Nothing touches your credit file.
