Airgen Go is a trading name of Airgen IT Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13937976), registered office 6 Edison Village, Nottingham Science & Technology Park, Nottingham, NG7 2RF. This page explains what information we collect when you rent a router from us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email hello@airgengo.co.uk.
What we collect
- Order details. When you check out we collect your name, email address, phone number and delivery address. Checkout is run by Stripe, our payment provider. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our systems.
- Support messages. If you email us, or message us through the chat widget on this site (which runs on our own support system, Chatwoot, hosted on our servers), we keep the correspondence so we can help you and improve the service.
- Usage analytics and session replay. We use PostHog, hosted on PostHog's EU cloud, to understand how the site is used. It records page views, clicks and anonymised session replays. Every text box is masked, so anything you type — names, addresses, card details — is never recorded. We also log basic visit information (page viewed, referring site, browser type) on our own servers.
- How you found us. The first time you visit, we note the source (for example a search engine, an ad, or a link) in your browser's local storage. If you go on to order, that source label is attached to your order via Stripe so we know which channels bring customers. It contains no personal information.
How we use your information
- To fulfil your rental (legal basis: contract). We use your delivery address to ship your router and your email and phone number to send order updates and resolve delivery problems.
- To pick your network (legal basis: contract). We check your postcode against mobile network coverage data so we can ship the SIM with the strongest predicted signal at your address. Only the postcode is used for this.
- To meet legal obligations. We keep records of orders and payments for six years as required by UK tax law.
- To protect the service (legal basis: legitimate interests). Stripe screens payments for fraud and stores your card details securely so that a non-return or damage charge can be taken if needed, as described at checkout and in the rental terms. We never see your card number.
Who we share it with
- Stripe processes your payment and holds your card details. Their privacy policy is at stripe.com/gb/privacy.
- Royal Mail (or an equivalent courier) receives your name and delivery address to deliver and collect your router.
- PostHog stores our website analytics and session replays on our behalf on its EU servers. Their privacy policy is at posthog.com/privacy.
We never sell your information and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website uses a small number of cookies and browser-storage entries:
- PostHog analytics sets cookies and local-storage entries so it can tell visits apart and record the usage data described above.
- The chat widget (our own Chatwoot server) stores a token in your browser so your conversation survives a page reload.
- First-touch attribution stores one local-storage entry recording how you first reached the site.
None of these are used for advertising, and we never share data with advertising companies. Stripe's checkout pages (on stripe.com) set their own strictly necessary cookies for security and fraud prevention.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for six years to satisfy UK tax and accounting rules, then deleted. Support correspondence is deleted once it is no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (where we are not legally required to keep it). Email hello@airgengo.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
