Airgen Go is a trading name of Airgen IT Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13937976), based in Nottingham. This page explains what information we collect when you rent a router from us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email hello@airgengo.co.uk.
What we collect
- Order details. When you check out we collect your name, email address, phone number and delivery address. Checkout is run by Stripe, our payment provider. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our systems.
- Support messages. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you and improve the service.
- Anonymous usage statistics. We run our own privacy-friendly analytics (Umami, hosted on our servers). It sets no cookies, stores no personal information and cannot identify you. No data is shared with advertising companies.
How we use your information
- To fulfil your rental (legal basis: contract). We use your delivery address to ship your router and your email and phone number to send order updates and resolve delivery problems.
- To pick your network (legal basis: contract). We check your postcode against mobile network coverage data so we can ship the SIM with the strongest signal at your address. Only the postcode is used for this.
- To meet legal obligations. We keep records of orders and payments for six years as required by UK tax law.
- To protect the service (legal basis: legitimate interests). Stripe screens payments for fraud, and a refundable pre-authorisation is held on your card while a router is with you, as described at checkout.
Who we share it with
- Stripe processes your payment and holds your card details. Their privacy policy is at stripe.com/gb/privacy.
- Royal Mail (or an equivalent courier) receives your name and delivery address to deliver and collect your router.
We never sell your information and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies. Stripe's checkout pages (on stripe.com) set their own strictly necessary cookies for security and fraud prevention.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for six years to satisfy UK tax and accounting rules, then deleted. Support correspondence is deleted once it is no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (where we are not legally required to keep it). Email hello@airgengo.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
